I want to make sure that this blog is not only a source of great information related to the buying and selling of real estate, but also about some of the perks and places to visit in Charleston. With that in mind, I want to highlight a great restaurant in Mt. Pleasant, Liberty Tap Room. Part of the TBONZ Group of restaurants, Liberty is located on Johnnie Dodds Boulevard just South of highway 526. Their motto is that their restaurant is a “Celebration of America.” Guests experience this in many ways ranging from their menu to their home brewed beers to the family atmosphere and on point service.
Their menu offers quite a variety of choices from fresh ground hamburgers on home made buns with fries to a full service oyster bar. The marinated, season and seared prime rib is always a winner, and all their deserts are homemade (Kaminsky’s style and recipes). Their nacho appetizer is loaded with chips, queso, pico de gallo, marinated chicken, sour cream, melted cheese, and fresh jalapenos. Look out! You’ll need two to finish them. They have a great happy hour with their home brewed beers and discounted appetizers and an entrée for everyone. If you’re looking for great food at a competitive price for lunch or dinner, I suggest you check them out.
